“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” – Henry Ford

I say this to my kids all the time! I need to tell myself this more frequently. I can do so many things but I limit myself by saying that I can’t. Where I get caught up is not being able to do things well. I don’t like to look like a beginner or not be good at things. It’s main reason I have never tried Zumba. I am pretty sure my coordination does not lend itself to that movement. But that’s just it. I haven’t even tried. Maybe I would love it. Why do I limit myself this way? Do you do that?

So this month, my goal is to try new things; maybe not Zumba, but maybe Zumba. I am going to stop saying I can’t and at least try. This is my self help for the month.

I have been focusing a lot on work these past few weeks and will continue. I just finished Fanatical Prospecting by Jeb Blount. I would like to get to I’d also like to read Eat the Frog by Brian Tracy. I also have Small Fry by Lisa Brennan-Jobs and The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile on my “to read” list. I never finished Duped last month and have picked that back up. It is so good. It’s a pretty big list for me to get to, but I will make the effort.

Educated; A Memoir by Tara Westover was recommended to me so I got it on Audible. It is 10 hours long. Yikes. Hopefully I will finish by the end of the month. I guess that I need to start. What do you use to listen to podcasts? I mostly use the apple podcast app on my phone. I did just download Stitcher bit I haven’t used it enough to have an opinion yet. Have you used it? What do you think? Are there pros and cons?

I’d love for you to follow my journey of healthy living. You can follow or subscribe to this blog so you never have to miss a post.
