We are at the end of the month already! I feel like I was just setting my goals and now I am realizing how many I never got to. How do you evaluate your progress? Do you look monthly, weekly, or not at all?
I usually set goals at the start of the month. Mine are always pretty lofty. I would rather have too much and not finish. If I finish, I would feel like I didn’t challenge myself enough.
Now fitness is a whole other story. I never really set concrete goals and at the end of the month I feel like I could have done or gone more. I am setting real goals for October. I used to have a great working out habit but recently have opted to sleep instead of getting up early. I know what schedule works for me I just need to be disciplined enough to do it.
My goals for fitness for October are:
1. Workout 4 days per week (this means getting back into my early morning habit)
2. Get more steps in. I am not giving myself a step goal. I am just challenging myself to walk more each day.
3. Don’t ruin hard work with bad food! I love food and I do love healthy food. I can love food and eat what good for my body.
