So this month, my goal is to try new things; maybe not Zumba, but maybe Zumba. I am going to stop saying I can’t or at least try. This is my self help for the month.

Fit over 50 is a gym that focuses on Functional Fitness. The activities of functional fitness mimic real life movements. Fit Over 50 helps individuals gain or maintain the freedom they want to enjoy the things they need to do, like to do, and dream to do outside of the gym.
This week I visited Fit Over 50 in Eagle, Idaho, a gym owned by Geoff Edwards that focuses on Functional Fitness. Contrary to the name of the gym, members do not have to be over 50.
I was invited this past week to a Sound Bath. I really had no idea what to expect except that I knew it was for relaxation. In my quest for mental fitness as well as physical health, I was willing to give it a try.
Last week I wrote about all of the different exercise programs that I have tried over the years. Do you know though, I still have to question what does it take to be fit?
I like working out when I am finished. Motivating myself to get there in the first place is the hard part. I have designed my workout routine in a way the makes it super convenient for me to go.
I have done so many workout programs over the years. It is not because they don’t work that I have done so many, it is because they do. I want to share what I have learned and what I loved the most.

If you ask, I will tell you that I am a healthy person. It is not because I run the fastest, lift the heaviest, or spend the most time in the gym. I don’t follow my eating plan at 100%. But I do try to make healthy choices most of the time.
My diet starts on Monday. I am going to start working out on Monday. My program starts Monday. Never skip a Monday. Have you said these things? I feel like it is every week for me.
