⚡️ – Overall – Loved the energy and how engaged the instructors were. I highly recommend working out at Barre 3. If you are looking for a community that is encouraging and promotes feeling your best. This is it.

C2R Fitness is a new gym located on Chinden and Cloverdale in Boise. As soon as I walked in the door I noticed how inviting the environment is. I was introduced to Danny, who walked me through what a first visit would be like for any new client.
I wrote a little bit about F45 while I was doing Boise Fitness Week. I have been going to F45 for 8 months and am really glad that I was willing to try it out. F45 is functional fitness training. My best description is that it is a bit like crossfit or bootcamp classes. The exercises are meant to be functional or mimic real life movements.
On Day 9 I had to squeeze in 2 workouts. I was a little better at planning these. In the morning I headed to Downtown Boise for Upcycle and then in the afternoon I was back in Boise for Hollywood Market Yoga. I purposely left yoga for Day 9 and for Day 10 I only visited Stretch Lab. I though those two were perfect for a wind down to the week.
Barre uses a ballet barre for many of the exercises and is a full body workout. Like all the other fitness places I have visited for Boise Fitness Week, it was a group class. This class challenged me more than any other I did throughout the week. I was incredibly sore for a few days after taking this class. The moves were very precise and numerous in their repetition. Lindsay was the instructor and she took very seriously correcting form and gave a ton of individual instruction. It was the true personal training in a group setting that is often quoted as the benefit of boutique fitness. When we were told we were going to burn out the left side, there was no ‘maybe’ in that statement.
I’d love for you to follow my journey of healthy living and visiting as many gyms as I can squeeze in. I visited the Barre 3 Location in Eagle.
Going to Cycle Bar was my first experience with a cycle class. I really wasn’t sure what I was doing for most of the class. My first impression of this studio was how welcoming they were.
Kaia Fit is a Women’s Gym whose mission is to “Build Strong Bodies and Powerful Minds.” It is a franchise that has close to 40 locations, mostly found in the Western United States.
I worked out this past week at Kaia Fit in Boise. I was able to do 3 of the types of classes that are offered at the gym. What made it really great was having a friend join me 2 of the 3 days.
This week I visited Fit Over 50 in Eagle, Idaho, a gym owned by Geoff Edwards that focuses on Functional Fitness. Contrary to the name of the gym, members do not have to be over 50.
